12-inch STAR WARS ELECTRONIC EMPEROR PALPATINE & ROYAL GUARD 2-figure set made by Kenner. This set -- a limited edition sold exclusively at Target stores in 1998 -- features the evil Sith Lord and his crimson-robed Royal Guard, as seen in Star Wars: The Return of the Jedi.Window box shows black-robed Emperor Palpatine (with cane accessory) shown alongside his Royal Guard, armed with a weapon accessory. The Emperor is capable of saying several phrases from Return of the Jedi: "With each passing moment, you make yourself more my servant;" "Strike me down with all your hatred, and your journey towards the dark side will be complete;" "Your feeble skills are no match for the power of the dark side;" and "In time, you will call me Master." The Emperor's battery needs to be replaced for electronic phrases to be heard.
